This week, I will add some variety by doing the 5MHW. I’ll do a 6-day routine, working through 5 of the workouts provided by the app.

Monday – Cardio

Tuesday – Upper Body

Wednesday – Lower Body

Thursday – Yoga

Friday – Off

Saturday – Pilates

Sunday – Pilates

Wow! Can you believe how fast time flies. This last week was a blur. This happens when I am focused on what I want and execute. This week, we’ll revisit the 5MHW. Here is my workout for the week.

  • Friday – Yoga
  • Saturday – Full-body workout (extension bands)
  • Sunday – off

Well, folks! Today is Easter Monday, which means many people are off today. Why not start out a simple workout routine? You’re stuck in the home, anyway. Take a walk around the block, do some bodyweight exercises, break out those weights in your garage or basement collecting dust. You’ve got the time. Why not try something that pays you back? Ok. I’m done preaching.

Here’s my workout for the week:

  • Monday – Chest, Triceps, abs
  • Tuesday – Back, Biceps, and Calves
  • Wednesday – Shoulders and abs
  • Thursday – Legs and abs
  • Friday – Yoga
  • Saturday – Pilates
  • Sunday – Off

I like variety, and the Yoga and Pilates will do the trick. Have a great week, readers!

Hey all! Sorry for forgetting to post this yesterday. I have updated my to-do list to remind me to do that next Sunday. Anyway, here’s what I’m up to this week.

Monday – Upper Body

Tuesday – Lower Body

Wednesday – Day Off

Thursday – Upper Body

Friday – Upper Body

Saturday/Sunday – Day Off

On Day’s off, I’ll be doing Pilates x 3 for the day using the 5 Minute Home Workout app.

Mondays and Thursdays I’ll be concentrating on chest, back, shoulders, and arms.

Tuesdays and Fridays I’ll be concentrating on Quads, Hams, Hip Flexors, Calves, and Abs.

On workout days I’ll do one workout in the gym, the other two will be at home, using bodyweight and my exercise bands.

  • Monday Upper Body

  • Sunday Day Off

My AM workout will be a 5-minute HIIT session. My Afternoon will be weights on the above schedule. My early evening workout will be a Pilates session.

I got the feeling it was pretty boring reading my workout everyday, so I’ve opted to put down my schedule for the week. Feel free to use this for yourself if you are so inclined. This is what I’ll be doing this week, as I head back to the gym. It is a very basic workout, but one that will slowly get my body used to moving some weights. I’ve been out of the gym and doing home workouts everyday to get my habit back, after some inconsistent exercise warned me that I had lost the exercise habit.

Now that the habit is back, it’s time to start crushing the metal again.

Here’s my workout schedule this week:

Tuesday – Thursday – Saturday

  • 20 minutes Cardio
  • Leg Press 3 x 15
  • Bench Press 3 x 15
  • Seated Cable Row 3 x 15
  • Dumbbell Shoulder Press 3 x 15
  • Barbell Curl 3 x 15
  • Triceps Press down 3 x 15
  • Standing Calf Raise 3 x 15
  • Crunch 3 x 15

Wednesday – Friday

  • Walk 20 minutes
  • Pilates
