It was great getting back into the gym this morning. I really enjoy new cardio equipment. The Planet Fitness I use replaced every piece of their cardio gear.
Static cardio vs. HIIT
There are a lot of advocates for HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), claiming you can lose more weight for less effort and all the rest. I enjoy static cardio. It gets the heartbeat up; you get a good sweat going; and it is relaxing. Either will work, but for me, particularly with the nerve damage in my left leg, static cardio is a much better option.
