It’s Easter Monday! For those of you outside the U.S., it’s a pseudo holiday to give federal workers and bankers a day off because of Easter Sunday. I take advantage of holidays and add another “do nothing day” to my schedule. It’s a great way to recharge the batteries. This year, I opted to move from a 7-day work week to a 5-day work week, taking it easy on the weekends. I don’t know why the nudge came, but since I retired, I felt out of sorts for quite a while. With all this time, what do I do?

Well, it didn’t take long to figure out a schedule and such. The 7-day schedule, however, was a bit too much. So I backed off to a 5-day workweek, and you know what? It works. I do some work on Saturday, and nothing on Sunday (My do nothing day). During the week, I do my homework, writing, learning, exercise, spiritual work, and all the rest. Day’s like today are an added bonus. I get to relax one more day, and again, do what I want to. In my off time, I read a lot of books, watch some movies now and then, and play video games. It’s nice. My degree schedule doesn’t allow for days like today, but that’s alright. I’ve always enjoyed learning and doing the minimal work for my online degree isn’t too tough.

Well, that’s it for today. For those of you who are working, have a great day today. Put in your best effort. You’ll feel great at the end of the week, looking back at all the progress you made.

See you tomorrow!

Until next time…
