Being a night owl has enormous advantages to the work I do. I write, I read, I code, and I research. It’s best for me to do these things when I can’t sleep (between 12 am and 3 am), because the others in the home are in bed. No interruptions, it’s very quiet, and again, no interruptions.

I enjoy watching videos and reading papers about sleep patterns and here is one that may explain why this time works for me (I’m definitely a night owl) and why my schedule may not work for someone who is genetically disposed to being an early bird.
