This is how we work with Divine Spirit. We try to look at life and find the laughter wherever we can, whenever we can, because laughter is the healer.

Do you have sources for your laughter?

Here is my list:

TV Shows, Movies, and Cartoons:

  • Three Stooges
  • Abbot and Costello
  • Anything with Don Knotts in it
  • Tommy Boy and Black Sheep (Movies)
  • Anything Looney Toons
  • Anything Tom and Jerry

  • Dave Chappelle
  • George Carlin
  • Bill Burr (my favorite for sure)
  • Any comedy show on one of the streaming services (Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, etc.)

Some memes my friends post online are also funny. If you haven’t been to this site, you ought to check it out. My sister turned me on to this one:

The Oatmeal

It is a very scary time for many people out there. The media isn’t helping. If you want to have a nervous breakdown, watch any 24-hour news station (CNN, MSNBC, FOX) and you’ll see how fast you become uncomfortable.

Have an outlet. Enjoy playing board games with your family. If you’re into online games, get a group together, and go at it. Some of my biggest laughs have come from playing Call of Duty with a bunch of strangers in Team Deathmatch or in the new Warzone. Some reactions are hilarious. TikTok is another superb source for quick laughs. There are quite a few comedians that put little bytes of their routines on this site and they are hilarious!

I know some of my readership is in the younger generations and you may not recognize some of the names or cartoons I reference, but you all have your favorite shows, guaranteed to cheer you up. Dig into these whenever you are getting stressed out. It’s a great way to lift your spirits and just laugh your head off.

badeep, badeep, badeep, that’s all folks! (Porky Pig, for those of you who don’t recognize this).

Have a great Saturday!

Until next time…
