Think about how many things have changed throughout your life. It’s interesting. I retired early to move back home and help out my folks, who are both in their senior years, particularly my Dad who is suffering from Dementia. When I see a VCR player in their basement, I realize how important it is for all of us to remain prepared for change. How many of you still use a VCR or even a DVD player? I realize that DVDs are still going to be with us for a while, but most of us stream our content. My recent laptop has no DVD player, because of this recent change in how we consume content–streaming. Manufacturers are building out laptops for streaming content only. I still have an external DVD drive, which was really cheap (about $29) to play DVDs when I need to, but the trend is that DVDs, CDs, and the like are more than likely on their way out at some point in the future.
