Happy Saturday all!
Today was one of my scheduled days off from the workout routine, so I did 35 minutes on the treadmill for a cardio workout. I also did some weight work with my forearms (not included in the formal workout I’m following currently).
Cardio is a great addition to any workout routine, particularly when you are not doing any High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) or cardio acceleration as part of the weight routine. The muscles I work during the week need a rest and two days off after a grueling leg day on Friday was more than welcome.
Anyway, this was it for today.

These scheduled days away from the gym are so important for the body.

Oh no! Thank you. It’s addictive once you get going. Try it, you’ll see what I’m saying in a very short time period. The key is realize this is a marathon not a race. As long as you keep using good supplements, eating good food, drink plenty of water, get the sleep you need and remain consistent in your gym times, you’ll do well. One more thing that is really important is to document your workouts and your eating–absolutely critical.
